Each functional ceramic piece I create is individually handcrafted from clay, using a blend of traditional and non-traditional techniques. Every item goes through a thoughtful, multi-stage process that ensures it is as durable and functional as it is beautiful.
The journey begins with wedging the clay, followed by throwing or hand-building to form the initial shape. After shaping, the piece dries slowly—anywhere from 24 hours to a full week—before I refine its form through trimming, smoothing, or carving. Once ready, it enters the kiln for its first firing, where the clay becomes strong enough to handle glaze. I then brush multiple layers of glaze to build depth, color, and finish. The piece is fired again at temperatures nearing 1,900 degrees, transforming both clay and glaze into a durable, food-safe surface. After cooling, each piece is sanded, inspected, and tested for heat resistance and everyday use.

All pieces are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe unless otherwise noted.
